Method
I designed a Google Form with 10 multiple choice question covering
- Strong password
- Threat types (e.g phishing)
- HTTPS and firewalls
- Secure practices (2FA, malware,prevention)
Google Form :
👉Participants: 4 students from my class
👉 Format: Anonymous survey
👉 Goal: Evaluate general cyber security awareness
📊 Key Finding & Percentages.
- 100% identified a strong password
- 75% correctly knew the goal of cyber security
- 50% misunderstood HTTPS
- 50% knew firewalls block unauthorized access
- 50% would post threats on social media instead of reporting
- 25% thought only phones or laptops can be affected by malware
Some of the classmates answer the google form Q1 and Q2.
And also get the survey from the Q 7 and Q8
🖼️ Charts
Here's a simulated pie chart image to visualize the results:
Conclusion
Although student showed decent knowledge in areas like passwords and 2FA, there were serious gaps in understanding phishing, HTTPS and incident response. Training and awareness sessions could bridge these gaps effectively.
